Ins and Outs #3

Well hello there lovely ladies,

I am currently hanging my head in shame at the lack of posts from me recently-I’m sorry! Things have been so busy for me recently and I know that’s no excuse but that’s all I can offer.

So, to get myself back on the wagon I thought I would start with a simple In and Out post-I love reading these myself so hope you guys like it too and forgive me for being AWOL!

In:

Hen Weekend: I spent last weekend with my friends as one of them is due to get married in only 2 weeks (very excited about this) on a hen weekend in Centre Parcs. It wasn’t your usual Hen Do as we couldn’t openly advertise but we had a fantastic time nonetheless!

Partying with friends: A friend of mine recently turned 18 so we went out last night to celebrate and we had a fab time! I am currently writing this post feeling rather delicate because of it, but it was all worth it!

Working from home: At work we are currently having major heating works so there only needs to be one person in the office at a time so I get to work from home for 3 days next week. Unfortunately I am really busy so will be working but I love being able to just slouch around in my loungers watching day time tv whilst I plod away at the computer.

Alice in Wonderland: I managed to get myself and a few friends free tickets to a screening of Alice in Wonderland 3D on Thursday which is also the night of the premier down in London – obviously North Wales isn’t as glamorous as London, but I am very excited and it was free so can’t really complain! (I have never seen a 3D movie so I’m quite excited about this too)!

Out:

Having the longest wishlist of clothes and accessories that I not only want but NEED J but having very little money to buy anything! A combination of moving in with my OH and weddings has left my bank balance feeling unhappyL.

Feeling rundown L after the last couple of weekends of going out and being up and down the country (the downside of living in the North when ALL my friends live in the South) my body is telling me that I need to slow down. Unfortunately, I still have many events to come over the next few weeks so there is no chance of slowing down just yet-ah well!!

As you can see, there are more ins than outs which is always good!

What’s your ins and outs??

Tra for now J x x x

Monday Summary

Well hello there,

Didn't I just fail last week by missing my Monday summary-sorry everyone! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and I'm sure you're as happy as I am that Monday is now over :-)

Anyway, I have had a very busy weekend and have an extremely busy week ahead of me but it's going to be filled with lots of fun and games so I can't complain! So here is my 5 good things:

1) I had a fantastic weekend with one of my best friends form Uni-she is getting married later this year and I have the great honour of being her chief bridesmaid so we ventured a wedding fayre this weekend and also started dress shopping! We have fallen in love with 2 amazing dresses and I can't wait until we can start trying them on!

2) Another of my friends is getting married in just a few weeks so we have her Hen Party this weekend and I am ready to burst with excitement! It's not going to be very much like a typical hen party as we are off to a Centre Parcs therefore cannot openly advertise that we're a hen party but it's going to be a lot of fun nevertheless!

3) My sofa is being delivered on Wednesday! I am so excited-I never thought I would be as excited as I actually am! A big downer will be the fact that I cannot actually sit on until Monday night because the OH has decided (very kindly) that he will decorate the lounge-so that's something to look forward to but just a shame that I have to wait until Monday to have it all in place!

4) Glee - I'm not sure if I have mentioned this before, but even if I have it's worth another post! I absolutely love this programme! It makes me feel so happy when I watch it! I will be buying the albums as soon as they are released and can guarantee there will be lots and lots of car journeys with me signing my heart out!

5) Since I came back from my holiday I have been in much need of losing a few pounds-America is a very bad influence on the body lol! Anyway, since I came back I have been trying hard to be a bit healthier (with very little to show for it) but I noticed this week that I am finally starting to shed a few pounds-it's not much but at least it's coming off!

Hope you all have a very good week and let me know what your 5 good things are for this week! x x x

Girl Meets Dress :-)

Hey lovelies,

Just a quick post tonight - yesterday whilst stalking my friends on Facebook (don't gasp-you all do it) I noticed that one of my friends had become a fan of a site which instantly took my eye.

The website is called Girl Meets Dress which is a website which rents out designer dresses at a fraction of the price. I think this is an amazing idea, especially if you have a special occasion and want an amazing dress but just can't justify spending a fortune! They do other things too like bags.

Go check it out-got some amazing dresses! I have a wedding in just a month and have already bought my dress, BUT no harm in looking at others ;-)

Hope you all like x x x
