Barry M Nail Polish - Pale Purple

So, I haven't been feeling this week and decided to nip into town late this afternoon to cheer myself up and I came home with 2 very pretty purchases.

I have seen lots around for a while now on the Barry M nail paints and more recently the Pale Purple colour. I was lucky enough to nab the last pot off the shelf in my local Superdrug today so I thought I'd do a quick post on my initial thoughts :-)

*I apologise for the appalling picture-the lighting wasn't too great*

I have to admit, I don't often paint my nails-I never seem to get them right. But I gave it a go today and here's my results (after 2 coats):

I love the colour and it's really cheered me up today!

Any other recommendations?

Product Review: [Comfort Zone]

Hello there lovelies,

I promised I would be back soon so here I am J

I mentioned a few posts back that I had started a new skincare regime and I have been using it for a full month now and LOVE it! My skin feels absolutely fantastic so I thought I would share the products with you all.

Product: [Comfort Zone] Everyday Milk – Silkening gentle cleansing milk cream

What it says on the website: removes any make-up and pollution residues for a radiant, well-oxygenated and soft skin. Also recommended in the morning to prepare skin for a vital day.

How to use: Apply a few pumps of cleanser onto the palm of your hand and massage all over your face and throat. Remove with dampened cotton pads (usually takes about 4 cotton pads for me).

What do I think: I love the ease of use of this product-as weird as this sounds, I don’t particularly like getting wet so the fact that I don’t have to wash my face make’s this product fab for me! It smells gorgeous too.

Would I repurchase: Yes, although it won’t be for some time as I bought a large bottle (400ml) as it was on offer and the therapist assured me it would last between 8-10months which I think is pretty good value for money!

Price: I’m not a 100% sure on the price but I think it was about £20 for a 200ml bottle-I bought mine as part of an offer at my local beauty salon and it was 400ml for the price of 200ml.

Following on from that, I then use:

Product: [Comfort Zone] Everyday tonic – hydrating softening tonic

What it says on the website: protects and oxygenates, recommended morning and evening after the cleansing phase to rebalance skin pH and tone.

How to use: Apply 5/6 drops of the Tonic onto a dampened cotton pad and press gently all over your face and throat, including the eyes.

What do I think: Again, this is very easy to use, smells lovely and doesn’t leave my skin feelings tight at all-it feels refreshed as it should do.

Would I repurchase: Yes, again, I have a 400ml bottle therefore won’t be for some time.

Price: As with the cleansing milk, not 100% sure on the price but I think it was about £20 for a 200ml bottle.

The only issue with these products is that, from what I can gather, they are only available for sale in beauty salons who specialise in the [comfort zone products]. I am very lucky to have a salon very close to me that I use regularly, however I have googled them and there are places on-line that you can purchase them from (this particular website sells the special offer pack: http://www.salonskincare.co.uk/product_info.php?products_id=7716&ref=4)

And finally:

Product: Liz Earle Skin Repair Moisturiser (Normal/Combination)

What it says on the website: Rich in natural actives including borage (a potent source of the skin conditioning fatty acid GLA), avocado plus echinacea and antioxidant natural source vitamin E to help replace lost moisture in normal/combination skin, leaving it soft and smooth.

How to use: I use about a 5p size worth of moisturiser and massage gently into my face and neck.

What do I think: I love this product-it feels so soft on my skin. I have used many moisturisers in the past and was using the Clinique dramatically different moisturiser, which was nice, but my skin feels so lovely after using the Liz Earle product. I suffer badly with dry patches on my cheeks and these haven’t really been an issue since I’ve been using this product J

Would I repurchase: Yes definitely!

Price: I have the 50ml tube which retails at £17.25 on the Liz Earle website. I had my particular tube given to me by a lovely friend Laura so I didn’t purchase this particular one but I will happily re-purchase myself!

Does anyone else use [Comfort Zone] as I’d never heard about it before?

Please forgive me

I am currently sat here doe eyed hoping for your forgiveness (PLEASE)!

I have been a very bad blogger and have neglected my blog for quite some time :-( I am sorry!

I could give you a whole load of excuses including my new kitchen which is currently being done so my whole house is upside down and I am completely shattered all of the time, but come this weekend, it will all be done and (fingers crossed) it will look pretty :-)

So this is me beginning for forgiveness and a promise that I will have some blogs coming your way soon!

I hope you all had an eggtastic bank holiday weekend and are now stuffed with scrummy chocolate.

I will leave you with a cutie picture of a bootiful lamb that I helped deliver on Good Friday-they are really the cutest little things :-)
