REVIEW: Weleda Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion

I've recently been giving the Weleda Almond Soothing Cleansing Lotion* (what a mouthful) a try and I thought I'd share my initial thoughts with you all! I first heard of Weleda last year when the pomegranate body oil was featured in the Glossybox (which I loved) and have been looking to try out some of the products ever since, so jumped at the chance of giving this cleansing lotion a go!

So what do Weleda say about this product?

Extra mild cleansing lotion for sensitive and unbalanced skin, which gently removes impurities and make up, whilst maintaining the skin’s natural balance. Mild organic almond oil and plum kernel oil, leave skin calm and soft.

£8.95 for 75ml

Highly Commended:Natural Health Beauty Awards 2011 - Best Cleanser

I had a 20ml sample of this product which gave me about a weeks worth of using and I really liked it. I tried it first with my skinsonic, but it's not a foamy cleanser so I wouldn't recommend if this is how you cleanse.

It's a lovely creamy cleanser and I found it best to apply with my finger tips, massaging it in and then removing with a damp cotton wool pad. I used it every evening for a week (I'm lazy in the mornings and tend to just quickly wash my face in the shower - naughty I know) as a cleanser to remove my make-up before I used my skinsonic with my [comfort zone] products

I have quite sensitive skin and I'm always dubious about using new products, just in case, but I had no issues what so ever with this product and I will definitely be giving others in the range a look! I think I'll definitely be giving the facial oil a go.

I think for me, the best think about this product is the smell - it smells just like you're slathering marzipan all over your face!So delicious!

If you wanted to give it a try, they do actually sell 10ml sample sizes for just £1.95 which I think is a fab idea - very affordable way of trying something out without wasting money or product!

Have you tried any of the Weleda products before? Would you recommend any?
