Weekend #40

I haven't done one of these in quite some time so I thought I'd get back in to the swing of things and get one up! So here goes...

Friday: Finished work early to go and get my nails prettified! As I'm sure you're aware by now, I get my nails done with bio-sculpture (another version of shellac and all that) and as we're now in to Autumn, I had my trusty old grey colour which I totally adore! I went for something a little bit different this month - as October is Breast Cancer's Action Month, I decided to show my support and 'paint my pinky pink'! My nanna has just been diagnosed with breast cancer so it's most definietly more in my mind right now! BCC have teamed up with Nails Inc to create an exclusive Breast Cancer pink nail varnish which is absolutely stunning! Will you be 'painting your pinky pink'?

Saturday: I was going to spend this weekend doing absolutely nothing - I mean really laze about, stay in my pj's and watch absolute rubbish on tv, but alas, it was not to be! Since living together for the past 2 years, the bf and I have pretty much decorated nearly every room in our house bar the conservatory and after having a week off, the bf decided to tackle it this week leaving me to do nothing but join in this weekend - couldn't really say no after all his hard work! I've put in a few pics which show the progress - I may put up some more once it's completely finished but we're thinking nautical (even getting a ships wheel to feature on the wall)!

As you can see-the walls were covered in wood (sauna style) so we're popping up plaster board along one wall and then painting the rest to cover the yucky brown stain!

Saturday night was spent watching X factor (which I was so unimpressed with) and eating my weight in indian (which is a lot right now)!

Sunday: Another day in the conservatory - the damn wood stain needs quite a few coats to cover! I did manage to squeeze in a quick visit to see the pups!

I'm ending the weekend with a pounding headache, sore throat and a mega busy week ahead - typical!

I hope you've all enjoyed your weekend and are looking forward to the week ahead!
