Christmas Belles

So with Christmas just around the corner I am well in truly in full festive swing and wanted to share with you a fab Christmas song sung my a lovely little group called Elle & the Pocket Belles!

Now I am a little biased when it comes to this group as Lil Laura is one of my best friends BUT...they really are fab! They're a vintage inspired group and give an amazing swinging take on contemporary songs as well as singing some good old classics! (They even performed at the Benefit Glamoriety Ball this year with their 'Lil Ode to Benefit')!

Anyway, I will leave you with their fab original Christmas song to get you in a festive mood -

My Thoughts: Benefit Go Tropicoral

I am sure you've seen the Benefit boxsets being reviewed all over the place recently but I thought what the heck-I bought one a few months back and love it so wanted to share my thoughts with you lovely people.

I'm a big fan of Benefit products, I use a number of them daily on my face and I think they're boxsets really are cleverly put together. Whilst I was on holiday back in September, I was perusing the stands in Sephora and picked up Go Tropicoral boxset.

The set includes:
Cha Cha Tint (4ml)
High Beam (4ml)
Coralista blush 3g
Ultra plush coralista gloss (6.5ml)

What's not to love in this set - coralista is a firm favourite of mine - it's a perfect pinky/coral shade that adds a pretty warmness to the cheeks.
High beam is a lovely highlighter-used lightly and blended well, it adds such a lovely subtle sheen to the top of the cheekbones. I love having these mini's-perfect for popping in your handbag or in your night out bag for a quick touch-up.

Now cha cha tint and the ultra plush glass were both products that I wanted to give a go and have been rather impressed by them. Cha Cha tint is just like the original Benetint/Posetint but with a lovely coral/mango shade. The colour is quite sheer when applied which means it a product that can be buildable. The tints are multi-use products but I haven't yet used it on my lips yet-maybe next summer.
The gloss is lovely-I am definietly going to look in to more of these. The formulations is very soft and not sticky at all (I am not a lover of sticky lipglosses) and it's a lovely shade on my lips.

The boxsets also come with a 'tips and trick's booklet which gives diagrams of how to use the products-very handy indeed!

Benefit do do other boxsets (plenty actually) and at £24.50, I think these are a pretty good deal-maybe a though for a Christmas present?

Have you tried any of the boxsets? Which is your favourite?
