So, if you have seen instalment #1 and #2, you can catch up here and here but here's the final round up of the little treats that Benefit have to offer in their skincare range.
Triple Performing Facial Emulsion:
What Benefit says: Hydrates, protects & comforts the skin with an oil-free, lightweight formula.
Full Size: £20.50 50.3ml
My Thoughts: I like this product - it's quite light on the skin and I've been using it a lot recently as a day time concealer. I have quite a 'normal' skin type - I only ever really suffer with dry patches during the winter, but that's really my only concern (if we forget about the dark circles under my eyes) so this is perfect for me during the day time. It does come with an SPF in it (15) which was brilliant for me as I recently went away and took this with me (as I only took hand luggage). As I said, I don't really suffer with any skin issues so I don't know how well this would do for others but I've enjoyed using it. The one major downside for me has been the smell/taste-as a facial lotion, it's not hard to get this near the mouth area and it does not taste great - but, that may just be me being picky here!
Moisture Prep Toning Lotion:
What Benefit says: smoothes & revitalises allowing skin to fully optimise benefits of your moisturiser. Contains vitamin E acetate, natural oat & meadowsweet, botanical extracts known to purify &
smooth the skin and help reduce fine lines.
Full Size: £23.50 177.4ml
My Thoughts: This is supposed to be applied after cleansing and before you moisturise to boost the effects of your moisturiser of choice and I have found it to do just that! I've really liked using this product - probably my favourite product out of them all to be honest. I've used plenty of toners in the past, and this one absorbs quickly, doesn't leave my face feeling wet, doesn't have that alcoholic feeling some toners have and best of all, has left my skin feeling pretty soft!
All in all, I've enjoyed trying out these little beauties from Benefit, and although I wanted to love them so much (mainly for the packaging), I don't think I'll be rushing out to replenish most of the items. I think out off all the skincare items I've now tried, I will definitely be picking up the moisture prep toning lotion in full size. Have you given the Benefit skincare a go? Which were your favourite products? Am I missing something with some of them?
