Current Favourites

I'm not one in to monthly favourites, I just don't use that many products to warrant a monthly update, but recently, there have been a few little bits that I've very much enjoyed re-discovering in my stash, or have been new additions.

First up is the Origins Vitazing SPF 15. I got this in a giftset at Christmas and to be honest, wasn't that impressed. After reading all the hype about it I was expecting a lot and it just didn't seem to deliver. But, now the warmer weather (sometimes) has settled and I have a little bit of colour (which is fading fast) from my holiday, I can really see what the hype is all about! I don't have many skincare issues so I don't need a heavy duty foundation so this is perfect - just a little coverage to give me a bit of a made up look. I shall definitely be repurchasing.

Second is the Real Technique's pointed founation brush. This comes with the core collection set and if I'm honest, I only bought the set for the ever so famous buffing brush (which is well worth it). I'd never really used this brush, and actually had it in a blog sale but it never went so when I was looking for a concealer brush after leaving mine at a friends house, I decided to give this a go and boy, I have not used anything else since. This is the perfect shape for under the eyes and so soft.

Third is the Soap & Glory Smoothie Star - having burnt on holiday, I knew it would imperative that I moisturised as much as I could to hold back the issue of peeling so grabbed this out of my stash, mainly because I knew it smelt good. But it was amazing - no peeling issues for me this time round! My legs did get dry during the day, but once I applied this in the evening, I was all good again. I would recommend this just for the smell, but if you're on the lookout for a new body moisturiser I would definitely check this out-I've used it so much, yet there seems to be so much left.

Finally, we have the Clarins Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector. I've wanted one of these for so long, but with a draw FULL of lipglosses and the £17 price tag, I could never quite justify it, but armed with enough advantage card points I finally got my grubby little mitts on it. The hardest decision was what colour to go for and I final opted for 04 Petal Shimmer which is one of the new shades and it's just lovely. I love the applicator and the consistency of the gloss and the colour payoff is just enough to show a hint of colour. The product itself does feel nice on the lips too-not too sticky at all. Although I'm still not sure about £17 but I am very happy to have one in my collection!

What are you loving at the moment?
