Visiting: Barcelona Part 2

If you missed the adventures of part 1, you can pop on over here to catch up on that, if not, here's part 2 of my recent Barcelona visit.

Day 3
Today was a beach day - my compromise. I'm not a beachy person - I get bored so so easily and with a fish phobia, the sea isn't my best friend! But, it was on the list of things to do from my friends so compromise we did. The weather was absolutely gorgeous so we decided to get to the beach on bikes so headed to our closest rental shop and got the cutest bikes I ever did see! We absolutely adored cycling through the Barcelona streets and down La Rambla (even if all my friend could shout was "we're going to die" constantly).

Day 4
Today was another beach day - boo for me but it was another glorious day weather wise and the other 2 wanted as much tan time as they could get. Once they'd suitable topped up, we headed back to our apartment, beautified ourselves and ventured out to find a fancy place for dinner and came across Sagardi which was very yummy indeed! Once stuffed and with plenty of prosecco, we headed off to Fon Magica. WOW! It was truly amazing. Throughout the year, on different days, they put on a wonderful light/music display! It really was one of the highlights of the holiday!

Day 5
Our final day. We had a late night flight so decided to take ourselves off to the zoo for the day - I'm a big zoo fan, I always try and visit wherever I go. If I'm honest, it's not the best zoo - but it did have a dolphin show which was pretty awesome.

So that was it - our Barcelona visit in all it's glory! We had a wonderful time and would recommend visiting to anyone who's look for a city break away!

Next up Paris!

The Milkman

I'm not really a handbag kinda girl - I'm sure the OH would disagree but I'm not really compared to others. But I have seen 'satchels' around for quite some time now and there's just something about them that just makes me want want want!

I've held off for so long now ummminh and ahhhing over them because lets face it, they're not cheap - not for someone who's not a bag person and just spends a few £ in Primark usually! But the Brit-Stitch brand have always been one that's taken my eye and I always have a little browse but never commit...until now!

During London Fashion Week, Brit-Stitch had a sample sale on their website where certain items were 50% off so it was time to take the plunge!

I opted for the Stormy Sea Millkman and it's the perfect size! I absolutely love it! The colour is just perfect for A/W! The quality is pretty darn good too - all handmade in Britain it feels like a very solid bag that's most definitely going to last a good old while.

This won't be my everyday bag I'll be honest, it just isn't big enough but it's perfect for my weekend bag or for my travel bag - for some reason, I always opt for a satchel of sorts when I'm on holiday and this will be the perfect addition to my collection.

And it's going to have it's first holiday jaunt very soon when we head off to PARIS next week! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I'm so excited - I have never been and I am so happy I'm finally going to see all it's beauty in person!

Let me know what you think of the Milkman and if you've got any Paris recommendations - I'm all ears!
