Where have you been?

It's been a while since we last spoke I know, and I have no excuses - I'm a bad blogger. Life just gets in the way but I was sat here this evening and had the urge to come online and say hello. If you follow me on twitter or instagram then I'm not really away - maybe not living the most entertaining life but I'm posting regularly over there (say hello if you do follow me there-I love good chat)!

So where have I been...well in all honesty, I spend most of my evenings on the wedding planning - I'm a planner, an organised person so even though I have over 15 months until the big day, I'd like pretty much most of it done and dusted by this summer - plenty of time then to relax and get the little details sorted.  So far we're on track, the main elements are pretty much sorted but I'll update on that in more detail at a later date.

Other than wedding planning, we're now also holiday planning! We're heading off to New York for Christmas and New Year and I am beyond excited! A few years ago, after my parents and little brother enjoyed their first ever visit to the Big Apple, we decided that for NYE 2015, we'd be in NY. 2015/2016 marks a few milestones in our family; my little brother's 18th, Mum & Dad's 55th birthday & 35th wedding anniversary then next year will be my 30th so we thought it would be a pretty fine way of celebrating!

So on Christmas day, we shall be jetting off for a week long jaunt in the Big Apple and I'm so damn excited! I've been lucky enough to visit NY on 2 occasions so I've done the typical tourist sites (although I'll still be doing some again) so this time we're hoping to do some not-so typical sites.

If you have any suggestions, please do leave below - we're all ears!

I hope you're all well and enjoyed the bank holiday weekend-it's such a shame all weekends can't be that long!

Ta ta for now
